Transport Links
The venue is just outside Watford, north of London, and only minutes from the M1, M25, and Bushey and Watford Junction railway stations (both step‑free). Local bus routes also stop nearby.
Parking & Access
200+ on‑site parking spaces are available, including six dedicated disabled bays close to the entrance of the main building and grounds, with step‑free access to the main building, sports facilities, and Monty’s Bar & Kitchen.
Please note that our car park is monitored by Parking Eye ANPR cameras (parking fees apply for all vehicles).

- Disabled toilets on the ground and first floor (RADAR key), plus an inclusive toilet and baby‑changing facilities on the ground floor
- Accessible sports toilets, changing rooms, and showers
Support & Adjustments
We understand that every visitor’s needs are different. Metropolitan Bushey partners with the Access Card programme, which provides photo ID and uses clear, standardised symbols to communicate a person’s disability or impairment. These symbols help highlight any potential barriers and indicate the reasonable adjustments a visitor may require during their time with us.
This partnership also streamlines our booking process, ensuring a smoother, more accessible experience for everyone.
We can support guests with:
Essential Companion Tickets
- Guests with an Access Card displaying the “+1” symbol receive a complimentary companion ticket
- Applies to events not including food or drink in the ticket price
- Purchase your tickets as normal on our events page, then email us: the following information for a refund to the card used at booking
- Order Number (found on the emailed order confirmation you received when you booked tickets)
- The person who holds the card First Name and Last Name
- Access Card Number
If you don’t have an Access Card, you can apply for:
- A Free Digital Access Pass (DAP) valid at Metropolitan Bushey – APPLY HERE
- A Full Access Card (£15, valid for 3 years) recognised at thousands of UK venues – APPLY HERE
Standing & Queueing
We aim to minimise standing and queueing wherever possible. If you find standing difficult, please speak to a member of our team on arrival and we will provide priority entry or a suitable waiting area.
Difficulty Standing
If you are unable to stand for long periods, we can offer seating in appropriate areas of the venue. Please let us know in advance or speak to staff on the day so we can support you.
Difficulty with Crowds
If busy environments are challenging, we can arrange early entry, quieter waiting spaces, or assistance navigating the venue during peak times.
Level Access
Our venue offers level access to key areas including the bar, restaurant, and event spaces. Step‑free routes and accessible entrances are clearly signposted.
Distances
Most areas of the venue are within short walking distance. If you require support moving between spaces, or need to limit walking distances, please let us know so we can assist.
A wheelchair buggy is available for guests who may find longer distances difficult.
Urgent Access to Toilets
Accessible toilets are available on site. If you require urgent or frequent access, our team can help you identify the nearest facilities and ensure you can reach them quickly when needed.
Accessing Visual or Audible Information
Staff can assist with reading signage, locating facilities, accessing printed materials, or providing written information if you have difficulty hearing announcements.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the venue. Water bowls and rest areas are available on request.
Bowling Green Access
A manual Bowls Buggy is available on our Bowling Green to support visitors with limited mobility and ensure inclusive participation.
