Membership Types

Parking & Discount Card and Club Membership provides access to free parking, discounted food and drink, and reduced rates on room hire. However, it does not qualify the holder as a Full Club Member.

Full Club Membership includes all the benefits of Parking & Discount Card and Club Membership and additionally grants voting rights at the Metropolitan Sports Club AGM. Applicants must be proposed and seconded by two existing Full Club Members.

Metropolitan Police & Personnel – Free Full Club Membership is available to serving and retired Metropolitan Police Officers and Staff are entitled to Full Club Membership free of charge. This can be claimed by presenting a valid payslip or pension slip upon joining. Please note that Club Membership does not include access to the gym.

Metropolitan Police Members are eligible for immediate discounts on room hire.

Membership Benefits

Only one vehicle registration may be logged per person.

Discounts apply to the member’s own orders, rounds, or tabs and are not extended to guests unless the member is paying.

Members receive 10% off food and drink up to a value of £100 during their first 12 months. After 12 months of membership, this allowance increases to £1,000.

Members must have held membership for a minimum of six months to qualify for room hire discounts. This does not include studio or meeting room hire.

Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with other sales discounts or promotional offers unless the specific terms of a Promotional Discount Code allow it.

Metropolitan reserves the right to vary or discontinue the discount scheme at any time.

All memberships auto-renew on either a monthly or yearly basis, depending on the selected payment schedule. Gym Memberships, Club Memberships, and Parking & Discount Cards are based on a minimum one-year term.

Members must be aged 18 or over.

Membership may be cancelled at any time if the Metropolitan Police Bushey Sports Club (Metropolitan) Board of Directors deems a member to be in breach of the club’s rules or standards. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
